Lapwing Energy was part of DESNZ’s Greenhouse Gas Removal programme developing Reverse Coal, focused on rethinking farmed landscapes, sequestering carbon and enhancing food production.
This pilot project on The Lapwing Estate in the heart of the historic Midlands coal fields can be scaled to generate in excess of 1Mt of CO2e a year contribution towards net zero.
